Fall, or Autumn for our non-North American readers, is approaching with it’s beautiful earthy and fiery tones. The air is getting fresher and crisp with every passing day, and the sneakers you’ve worn for most of the Summer won’t cut it anymore. You’re looking in the back of your wardrobe to find your stored-away boots and warm coat for the colder season. However, as you get them out of the dusty storage which hasn’t seen the light for about 6 months now, you realize they’re way too worn out for yet another season. You might try to get your clothes back in shape by re-waxing your boots and dry-cleaning your coat. I definitely recommend doing this before buying another pair of vegan boots or a new synthetic pea coat. But, as you know, all great things must come to an end. If you’re at the stage of refreshing your vegan wardrobe, I’ve got just the selection for you. Below is a curated list of vegan coats, sweaters and boots for the ethical man. No wool, no leather, no worries. Let’s start right away!
1. Bomber Jackets or Leather Jackets
Bomber jackets, usually made from polyester, or leather jackets, which can easily be found in a vegan material, are a staple in any men’s wardrobe for colder seasons. Usual colors that go well with any style of synthetic bomber jackets are olive, tones of dark red and black. Or if you prefer, we have a list of the best vegan leather jackets.

If you live in a colder part of the country, or if you simply like to be more cozy and toasty, get yourself a vegan coat or parka. There are quite a few good man-made alternatives to wool coats. As the days become shorter and the cold becomes harsher, a vegan coat is a great addition to your end-of-fall, early winter wardrobe.

Flannel shirts are probably the most classic fall wardrobe item. You don’t need to be a Canadian lumberjack to wear them, and, nowadays, they are usually made from cotton and synthetic material instead of wool. The classic checkered pattern is always a good one to go for, but you can also go for a uniform color. You have thousands of patterns and colors to choose from.

One of the most common material for cozy warm socks is wool. Fortunately for vegans all around the world, there are now amazing alternatives to wool socks, namely bamboo and hemp fibers. Not only vegan socks are sustainable and eco-friendly, they’re also comfortable and durable.
